The following is a list of terminology that may be used. If you don’t understand it, you can look here for a description.
Administrator
A player who is authorised to hold official practice sessions, gameweek games, and test sessions. Administrators can also post front page news, manage the website and are administrators on the forums.
Co-ordinator
A player who is authorised to hold official practice sessions and gameweek games. Co-ordinators can also post front page news and are moderators on the forums.
Custom game
This refers to the 3rd game of the gameweek. The custom game can feature any combination of score limit and settings, and as such is the one you can least likely prepare for. All custom games, no matter what the score limit, still only give up to a maximum of 50 performance points. All custom games use the RPWS map variant.
Gameweek
The three games (Slayer, Objective and Custom) to be held on that week’s particular map.
Half points
In the event that a gameweek cannot be delayed any further, the gameweek takes place immediately with half points. Half points apply to both position and performance points, so the maximum points possible per game is 50.
Lack of players
When less than 10 players are available for a gameweek.
Objective game
This refers to the 2nd game of the gameweek. It is always a default Oddball or King gametype on the default version of the map, with the only possible variations being weapon sets, or score limit (based on player numbers) which are set via the quick options.
Performance points
Championship points awarded based on a player’s in-game score at the end of the game.
Performance points are awarded based on the ratios:
| Score limit | 25 | 50 | 75 | 100 | 150 | 200 | 250 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Champ:In-game | 2:1 | 1:1 | 2:3 | 1:2 | 1:3 | 1:4 | 1:5 |
Position points
Championship points awarded based on a player’s finishing position in the game.
Position points are awarded as follows (starting Season 2 for the regular season):
| 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th | 6th | 7th | 8th | 9th | 10th | 11th | 12th-16th | DNQ |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 50 | 45 | 43 | 41 | 39 | 37 | 35 | 34 | 33 | 32 | 31 | 30 | 25 |
For Season 1, the position points were as follows:
| 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th | 6th | 7th | 8th | 9th | 10th | 11th | 12th-16th | DNQ |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 50 | 40 | 35 | 30 | 27 | 24 | 21 | 18 | 16 | 14 | 12 | 10 | 10 |
“Rain delay” clause
The “rain delay” clause is enforced if the gameweek cannot take place for any of the following reasons: Lack of Administrator or Co-ordinator to run the gameweek, lack of players, Xbox Live downtime etc.
For the first occasion, the gameweek is delayed by around 2-3 hours and run later on the same day.
For subsequent occasions, the gameweek is delayed by at least 1 day.
When the gameweek cannot be delayed any longer, if there is still a lack of players, the gameweek takes place immediately with half points. In any other case, the gameweek is cancelled and instead played after the end of season.
RPWS Map Variant
A variant of the gameweek’s map used for the custom game. It is the exact same as the default map, but does not have any equipment, active camo, overshield, or turrets.
Slayer game
This refers to the 1st game of the gameweek. It is always a default Slayer game on the default version of the map, with the only possible variations being weapon sets which are set via the quick options.
