…because I’m no good at Photoshop :P

If you’re good at Photoshop and designing images/banners, I’m calling you out! Here at the RPWS, we’re looking for someone to modify these images into something that’s more “us”.

First off is the header background. Right now it’s just plain with the site title and description. What we’d like is an in-game screen (Rumble Pit-style please!) modified into the background, and the Rumble Pit World Series title overlaid on it, and standing out slightly.

And, if it’s not too much trouble, several different banners each with a different screenshot would be lovely, so that we can put them on a random rotation, so that on each refresh a different image should appear.

The background image is here - although for it to fit in this post, it’s been reduced. Please right-click and “View Image” before downloading it to make sure you get the size right!

Header Background

Plus, the flag. This isn’t paramount, but it might be interesting to have something different on the flag rather than the UNSC logo. This isn’t needed, but it would be nice to have.

Also, please note to keep the transparency! Otherwise it’ll overlap some of the other images and content on the site, and we wouldn’t want that now, would we ;)

Banner Flag

Any help is greatly appreciated. We’ll be sure to justly reward anyone who helps out (whether it be through a thank-you link in the sidebar, or some form of monetary reward), so please give us a hand!

Wed, Jun 11 2008 08:41:19 EST Affiliate section

We have now added a small affiliate links section to our sidebar. Affiliates are websites or Clans that are of interest, help out or take part in the RPWS.

If you would like to become an affiliate of ours, simply request it here with your site/Clan name and link. The more people from your Clan/site that play regularly in the series, or the more you are able to help out and promote the series, the greater your chances of making the affiliate section.

On a side note, registration on the site and forums has been open for a while now. Just to inform you, you only need to register on either the site or the forums - your account is the same on both. Once registered and logged in, you can then post on the forums and comment on the site. All site comments also appear in the forum topic related to the news post as well, to keep the discussion up to speed on both sides :)
