Sorry for the delay in updating, but the recent website work has been quite hectic lately. Although I think in the long run the changes are going to be worthwhile
Gameweek 6 eventually took place on Construct last Sunday, however, although there were enough people to start the Slayer game, participants dropped like flies afterwards, leaving only 4 people at the end of the Custom game. Although the Gameweek started, because of the lack of people at the end, the choice was made to make this a half points week.
There are now several options:
- Take the original results as half points and make them the official Gameweek results
- Repeat the Gameweek for half points again, and add the two results together
- Start the Gameweek over on full points, ignoring the half points results
Until a decision is reached as to the state of the Gameweek, the results are unofficial, and as such are not included in either the current season standing or the all-time standings (which will be up soon). Also if any half-points games are played and counted, their position results will not be tallied in the all-time rankings (but will in the current season).
Report of the half-points games in the main.
The Bungie Day special “Sevens” tournament is over! After a slight change to the format with a low turnout, the final was changed from one 7 minute game, to an aggregate score across 2 games.
Both Capt Hacker and Its GH had the same leading score at the end - and both agreed to split the $77 prize fund, so both players will receive $33.50!
| Rank | Gamer | Game 1 | Game 2 | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Its GH | 25 | 29 | 54 |
| 1 | Capt Hacker | 29 | 25 | 54 |
| 3 | CBTS Zeak1 | 22 | 24 | 46 |
| 4 | spudd09 | 20 | 22 | 42 |
| 4 | TheChrisD | 21 | 21 | 42 |
| 6 | LG sPaWn | 19 | 17 | 36 |
| 7 | GridironGrace | 15 | 8 | 23 |
Hope to see you all soon for more regular season games and more tournaments! (Not necessarily all with prizes…)
For once, the gameweek started on time - It’s just a pity that the turnout numbers weren’t the best this week. Even previous players started dropping like flies after just the first game. Since the gameweek had been started though, it continued through to the end, even without sufficient people…
Replays are up in Slots 18-21. Full report in the main.
We REALLY need to not have to delay the gameweeks for 6 days, because of lack of a key component - whether that be a co-ordinator or players. Either way, we eventually got Gameweek 4 completed. It’s because of this that we will end up having 4 nights in a row of RPWS action!*
Replays of the matches are available on my File Share, slots 22-24 - right near the Fireworks replay in Slot 17
As always, full report in the main body of the news post! More »
NOTE: Results are currently unofficial, pending review of the game!
