Season 2 score changes
After taking a look at the current scoring system, and seeing the scoring trends that take place during gameweeks, it has been decided to change the position points scoring system, effective Season 2 for regular season, and immediately for the all-time rankings.
The new scores keep the inherent “bonus” for winning the game, but also tighten it up for the midfield and lower finishers. It also vastly increases the total score for the lower-finishers, meaning that a single bad game doesn’t mean losing a lot of ground in the championship.
The new scoring system:
| 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th | 6th | 7th | 8th | 9th | 10th | 11th | 12th-16th | DNQ |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 50 | 45 | 43 | 41 | 39 | 37 | 35 | 34 | 33 | 32 | 31 | 30 | 25 |
These changes equate to:
| 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th | 6th | 7th | 8th | 9th | 10th | 11th | 12th-16th | DNQ |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Same | +5 | +8 | +11 | +12 | +13 | +14 | +16 | +17 | +18 | +19 | +20 | +15 |
The all-time rankings table will be updated and posted later today.
