We REALLY need to not have to delay the gameweeks for 6 days, because of lack of a key component - whether that be a co-ordinator or players. Either way, we eventually got Gameweek 4 completed. It’s because of this that we will end up having 4 nights in a row of RPWS action!*
Replays of the matches are available on my File Share, slots 22-24 - right near the Fireworks replay in Slot 17
As always, full report in the main body of the news post!

You could say people had a lot of practice for this game after the Fireworks last night
The rockets and lasers action got off to a usual tight start - ChrisD, Zeak and newcomer ShackledBrian making the early gains. 3:30 in and it was still tight at the top with Zeak, Ogre, Penny and Chris all fighting over top spot. Several great plays were seen, such as Chris’s mancannon shots killing those on top-mid, Zeak’s scoring the only Triple Kill of the game.
5 minutes in, and Zeak began to eke out a small lead from the three fighting for second place, but still only had 20 kills. 7 minute mark, and the scores reached halfway, but Zeak’s lead had evaporated. A split had begun to develop with Zeak and Chris pulling away from the mid-pack spanning 3rd to 6th places.
9:30 and the turning point of the game with Zeak making some great clutch play to score a pair of kills and the triple, edging out a 5-point lead. Early contender SheckledBrian had slipped back to the midfield where positions were jostling back and forth. Within a minute, the lead had become 10 points and Chris struggled to earn kills, while Zeak was scoring doubles and other “unorthodox” kills (such as being lasered but getting close enough to kill his attacker from splash damage!).
However, Zeak managed to seal with win with a lovely rocket just as he was leaving the mancannon, to take win number 4 of the season, and leave Chris with his 4th runner-up place. Bronze went to Ogre who rallied back to beat the midfield race.

Objective
Gametype: Ninjaball - Ball Carrier Active Camo
Game: http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStatsHalo3.aspx?gameid=594945146
Narrows probably wasn’t the best choice of map for this game given it’s size and ease of getting from one side to the other
The main problem most people seemed to have was actually getting the ball. Several people got a few seconds on the clock, before Zeak scored 29 points in his first run to take the lead early. However, when SickNasty took the ball, he jumped to the bottom conveyor of the map for 12 seconds, and thus not only loses those 12 seconds, but also incurs a further 10 point penalty. We do not tolerate such methods to score time
Fear x Legend was next to make a long run, clocking up 39 points before being taken down. Several carrier changes occurred before Zeak made another small run to take the lead with 43. By now 4 minutes had passed, and Legend made another great ball run taking him up to 61.
At this point came the play of the match - the ball was dropped top-mid, and several fighters over it. Sicknasty came in with some great grenades for a double on the carrier and a fighter, a beat down for the triple and finally using the Bubble Shield from a dead opponent, dropped it, picked up the ball and score a beatdown for the Overkill before scoring a few precious seconds.
Next run went to Zeak with another 17 seconds, stopping just shy of the lead. wakelesscougar made his only run of the game an astonishing one, scoring 32 seconds before falling back into the shadows. Halfway through and there was still plenty to play for!
Other notable runs: 30 seconds from ChrisD, 20 from Pennywise, 25 from Fear x Fierce, and 42 from ChrisD for his last run. Final minute of the game and Chris with 89, Fear Legend with 82 and Zeak with 78. However, a massive brawl enabled Fear Legend to drop in and grab the ball without much resistance and hold it for the remainder of the time to take the win, with a fancy spin out of the man cannon!

While the suicides from falling weren’t as plentiful as the test on Construct, there were still numerous with 18 occurring!
A slow getaway from the start, with Fear Fierce taking the early kills lead ahead of Chris, Zeak and Pennywise. 2 minutes in the the action began to heat up with fights for position all over. Fierce and Chris traded the lead, while Penny and Zeak battled for third.
4 minutes in and Chris took a brief lead with a pair of doubles. 5:30 and Zeak and Penny were pulling back, with Zeak tying for the lead by the 6 minute mark, before a huge battle at one of the mancannons gave Chris an 18 point lead. However, by 7:30 Zeak had tied the lead again thanks to a Sword Spree, and almost a second - and then took the lead 20 seconds later with the play of the match - cleaning up other battles to score an Overkill.
Zeak went 1 point from winning with a bizarre double by stealing a kill and then avoiding an oncoming lunge, but for 40 seconds just couldn’t get that final point. Meanwhile, Chris rallied in a big battle to put himself one kill away from stealing the win - but was just 2 seconds too late before Zeak grabbed his final kill to take his 5th win, and leave Chris with his 3rd runner-up spot from 3 games.

Next Gameweek
The next gameweek is actually tomorrow night! This time the series makes the trip to the home of custom maps, Foundry. But don’t expect any custom maps this time round! Instead a lot of close-quarters action will be happening around the boxes and crates of this very universal map!
