Gameweek 2 has just been finished, as of this post’s first writing! With an eventual start after some “very light rain”, due to a slow trickle of players coming online, The Pit saw a good few games this gameweek!
Full report in the main post.
- Slayer
Gametype: Slayer BR’s - BR/AR start
Game Link: http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStatsHalo3.aspx?gameid=554605503Once again, I slightly boobed by not setting a time limit on this game in the quick options, even though I had changed the starting weapons and the score limit. However, by a stroke of luck, the game took just over the maximum time of 15 minutes, so we’ll let this one slide
After a tight first half with the lead jostling between 3 players, Zeak pulled away for his first Slayer game victory, by a comfortable margin.

Gametype: Rocketball
Game Link: http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStatsHalo3.aspx?gameid=554631745This time, thankfully, was free from any screw-ups - and instead was an action-packed, explosive, and very Rocket-y game of Rocketball. birdflu capitalized on other player’s fights over the ball to grab it, nip away and hide out for the full 100 seconds.

Gametype: Juggerwho?
Game Link: http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStatsHalo3.aspx?gameid=554656072After a successful test during the testing week, Juggerwho? made it’s first championship appearance. With most players already aware of the rules from the start, and the rest quickly getting to grips with them, the game was quite a successful hide-and-seek-and-run from the off, with Zeak taking victory with a lovely kill-steal right at the end, for his second Custom victory in a row, and third victory overall.

Don’t miss out!
